It was an unfortunate story to start with, the tarnishing of a seemingly worthy idol and role model, but as the days go on it just gets more sordid.
If what we are hearing is true (and I say “if” because there is so much rumour being touted as fact) Tiger had multiple girlfriends over several years.
He pleaded with at least one to change her voicemail message to avoid detection.
She then went to the media.
Elin snooped around on his cell phone to find evidence against him.
Then she beat him up with a golf club.
He paid off another girlfriend so she wouldn’t go on TV and spill her guts.
And now, according to reports, he’s paying his wife to remain with him and perform her wifely duties.
So apart from Tiger being a slimy lying cheat, his wife is the kind of woman who will stay with a man if he pays her.
They have a name for that.
Honestly, I think these people all just deserve each other.
